Comme des Garçons Homme White Label Vintage 1999 Trompe-L’oeil Scanned Woven Print Technique Striped / Top (~M~)

I love when clothes are unnecessarily extra but in such a subtle way that it questions if it was even worth it. What seems to be just a striped top is crafted in quite an absurd way. CdG took a woven tapestry like fabric and then printed it on to a more comfortable fabric and then used the woven fabric as just the bottom trim to show where the idea began. They had to match up the patterns and print in a way that the colours matched, a lot of work for just a striped t- shirt right? This is why I love CdG no one is doing all this for just a ready to wear label back then especially on a t-shirt.
